中醫手法治落枕

不少人都試過落枕(瞓捩頸),即早上一覺醒來,突感頸部僵直疼痛,頸部無法自然轉動,甚至頭部僵直地歪向一側。患者只要輕微扭動頸部就會感到疼痛,嚴重者甚至疼痛感覺放射至肩背部或上肢一側,造成徹夜難眠。

「瞓捩頸」中「捩」指「扭、轉」的意思,因此可簡單理解為睡覺時扭傷了頸部。誘發此症原因除睡姿不良或遭風寒侵襲至肌肉緊張外,亦可能跟起牀時的轉翻身動作,導致頸椎小關節錯位,對頸部神經造成壓逼有關。而頸部肌肉群為防範相關組織的進一步傷害,繼而形成保護性收縮,最後鎖緊了頸部。

平時診症時,筆者會通過頸部輕柔的鬆解手法,在毋須止痛藥和儀器下,用雙手就能為病人安全、有效和迅速地消除頸緊和頸痛。每次進行鬆解後,病人都能自然地轉動頸部,每每滿心喜歡地離開診所。

筆者建議患者多用熱敷紓緩痛楚,切忌冰敷,並且要注意頸部保暖,於冷氣環境可使用絲巾或圍巾圍住頸項,避免着涼。如果不慎頸項受涼,以致風寒內困、氣血凝滯,經絡痹阻,就容易引起肌肉收縮痙攣,以致落枕反覆發生。

提醒患者切忌大力亂捽患處,避免因刺激令軟組織發炎,愈捽愈痛,惡化病情。患者宜多休息,不要強行扭動頸部及提拿重物。
