長期坐姿不良加天氣轉變 椎間盤突出個案倍升

近日天氣變化頻密,時熱時涼,容易引起傷風感冒,一旦患病打噴嚏,隨時導致椎間盤突出。有脊醫指出,近兩個月接獲不少長期坐著,用電腦工作的辦公室人士,因椎間盤突出而求助,數目較前兩個月更上升一倍,而此類個案患者被稱為辦公室症候群。

脊醫王俊華指,上述脊椎關節痛症,近年漸趨年輕化。一名23歲女患者,從事會計行業,長期對電腦工作,姿態不當頭向前傾,終致兩年前因頸椎間盤突出,起初只在睡覺時感到手麻痺,後來在日間也出現,右手更有肌肉萎縮情況。經一年治療後,情況稍有改善,痛症消除,惟近月開始覺得頭、頸、肩及手有風濕痛,更患上傷風咳嗽。有次,打了噴嚏即感到頭、頸痛外,亦有耳鳴和眼花,於是再次向脊醫求助,檢查後發現頸椎第五、六及七節椎間盤突出復發,壓到周邊神經線,並且有發炎,需要接受新一輪的療程。現時痛症已減低,但仍需定期覆診。

因此,王俊華建議,當感到關節痛、風濕痛,宜及早求醫免痛症惡化,而在天氣轉變的日子,要好好保養身體,避免患上傷風感冒,增加椎間盤突出的風險,因椎間盤突出可壓迫到脊骨周邊的神經線,患者會感到腰痛、手麻痺或腳麻痺,嚴重者壓着中樞神經更可導致癱瘓、失禁。

另外,註冊國際體適能專業教練林睿孚指出,不少人感到肩頸腰痛時,會自行上網學習拉筋,處理急性椎間盤突出,以及肌肉抽筋;他呼籲患者有痛症時,應尋求醫生診斷,確定痛症原因,而且不應在劇痛情況下,心急去做運動,應待康復時,在專業教練或物理治療師的指示下,做運動才安全。
