腸胃炎致命菌

近日家長除要助孩子嚴防奪命流感外,還應注意春季回暖,當氣溫開始上升期間,乃腸胃炎高發期的開始。腸胃炎成因眾多,以細菌性為例,當中的李斯特菌、沙門氏菌及O-157大腸桿菌,均對長幼及孕婦有極高危險性,嚴重者足以致命及引發流產,故絕不可掉以輕心。

腸胃炎絕大多數成因都是食物受污染所引致,當中如果食物受到細菌污染,即屬細菌性腸胃炎。尤其近日氣溫不時回升,細菌於食物滋生的風險大增,進食各類生冷食物,也會增加「食錯嘢」的機會。

一般人都知肚痛、腹瀉是腸胃炎的徵狀,但如何判別甚麼狀況下可自行處理,還是情況緊急必須立即求醫?腸胃肝臟科專科醫生姚志謙解釋,要判別其危險性,可留意以下幾方面:

1.是否有發燒:如果細菌已離開消化系統,進入人體的血液和其他組織,身體多會有發燒徵狀,表示體內其他器官受到感染,需要進一步的專業治療。

2.肚瀉次數及狀態:如果肚瀉持續四、五日都沒有改善,或者每日連續肚瀉多於八次。排泄物為稀溏狀,則需要留意是否因嚴重肚瀉而引致身體缺水,應盡早求醫。

3.身體缺水狀況:身體缺水可從皮膚彈性顯示,如皮膚用力按下後,久久都未能回復正常狀態,或者四肢乏力、有精神難以集中等情況,都有可能是因為缺水所致。
