如何自然降低膽固醇?

提起膽固醇,不其然會想起壞東西,阻塞血管導致中風。其實膽固醇分為高密度及低密度,一般會簡單將高密度膽固醇稱之好的膽固醇,低密度的為壞的膽固醇,但兩種膽固醇在身體內各施其職,有其作用,不能過高也不能過低。

醫生說,膽固醇並不是越低越好,因為它也是製造荷爾蒙的原料,過低會導致頭暈、心悸、記憶力變差,以及免疫力下降等,也有臨床數據顯示癌症病人都有膽固醇偏低,當然,偏高則會有心血管疾病。

好了,平時在飲食方面要注意甚麼呢?肥肉、魷魚,甲殼海鮮都不宜多吃,燕麥則是公認可以降膽固醇,因此我的早餐也經常有燕麥。

有研究指出,以下食品也有助降低膽固醇,包括黃豆、深海魚如吞拿魚、沙甸魚及三文魚、橄欖油、蘋果、綠茶及烏龍茶,以及大蒜。不過,我一直都支持均衡飲食,好的壞的食物都吃,只要不過量,每一樣食物總有其營養價值,而就算多健康的食物,天天過量進食也未必有益。
