夏日水果|一粒荔枝三把火?荔枝係咪真係熱氣?

數到夏天一定要食的水果,荔枝一定可以佔一席位。但坊間有個說法是「一粒荔枝三把火」,到底甚麼人適合食荔枝呢?

極高糖水果

由於荔枝是一種極高糖的水果,而果糖的黏度很高,容易黏住口腔及食道黏膜,黏膜就會出現高滲透情況,導致水分流失,所以大家食荔枝後就會很容易出口乾的情況,與熱氣的感覺非常相似。

食荔枝後,口腔黏膜的免疫力和保護力均會減弱,而糖分亦會增加發炎及孳生細菌的機會,所以容易出現喉嚨痛及生痱滋等情況。

不建議空肚食

由於荔枝是極高糖的水果,除了會影響血糖外,胰島素亦會急速上升,或造成發炎,因此,糖尿病及心臟病患者應特別注意,一般人亦不建議在空肚的食大量荔枝,以免在短時間內吸收大量糖分,胰島素過分釋出而導致低血糖的情況。

最後,食荔枝時要適可而止,一粒起兩粒止就最為安全!
