莫德納新疫苗加強劑 有效應對Omicron

正在研發新冠疫苗新型加強劑的美國藥廠莫德納(Moderna)，周二公布初步結果，指其中一款加強劑有效應對Omicron變種病毒株。

莫德納指，該加強劑mRNA 1273.211是針對原始新冠病毒及變種病毒株Beta研發。在300人身上測試後，發現在接種1個月及6個月後，其對Omicron所產生的中和抗體，較目前使用的同廠疫苗更高。不過莫德納表示，其頭號研究目標仍然是另一款直接針對Omicron32種突變及原始新冠病毒的疫苗，預計第二季發布初步結果，冀趕及在冬季疫情反彈前獲准應用。
