Introdution :
Dr. Irene Lo graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with an MB ChB. Her training in orthopaedic surgeries started in Kwong Wah Hospital and was subsequently enhanced by rotations in Princess Margaret Hospital, Yan Chai Hospital, Caritas Medical Centre, Tseung Kwan O Hospital and Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. Dr.Irene Lo is a fellow of the Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Orthopaedic), her clinical and research endeavours centre around foot and ankle surgeries, adult joint reconstruction surgeries and sports surgery. She is particularly interested in computer navigation joint replacement surgeries and minimal invasive foot and ankle surgeries. She is an active member of the European Foot and Ankle Society, the Adult Joint Reconstruction Chapter and the Sports Medicine chapter of the Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association. She was among the foot and ankle group of Kwong Wah Hospital which introduced the minimally invasive percutaneous technique forAchilles tendon repair and Os Calcis fracture fixation from Austria.
