Introdution :
Dr. Wong Wing Keung Steven graduated from the Department of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1996, he then obtained his Orthopaedic Specialist qualification in 2004. He attended the University of Western Ontario in Canada, the Mayo Clinic in the USA and the Keio University in Japan for more advanced trainings to further develop in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Wong’s strength is in lower limb surgery, especially hip and knee replacement surgery. During the days he served in the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong, he was enthusiastic in the development of Adult Joint Replacement Team and he contributed a lot to the establishment of the Joint Replacement Centre in the New Territories West Cluster Hospitals. In addition of his surgeon experience, Dr. Wong has been heavily participated in clinical research. He has published and presented many clinical research reports and was invited to give lectures in local and overseas conferences. Clinical teaching and training of next generation surgeons is one of the emphases of Dr. Wong’s daily practice. Dr. Wong had been the Honorary Secretary of the Adult Joint Reconstruction Chapter of the Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association. Besides that, he was appointed to be Clinical Associate Professor (Honorary) by the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2016 and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor by the University of Hong Kong in 2014.
