Introdution :
Derek is a registered Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honor) Degree in Physiotherapy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and attained an Advanced Personal Fitness Trainer Certificate from the Asian Academy for Sports and Fitness Professional in the same year. He also holds a Master degree in Acupuncture from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, which he had his clinical practicum at the Peking University Hospital. Derek has worked in private clinics and Queen Elizabeth Hospital for years which have equipped him with extensive experience in all areas of physiotherapy. Apart from physiotherapy and acupuncture, he has also learnt manual therapy, sports therapy, traditional Thai massage and hypnotherapy. Derek is a young and energetic person. Despite keen on running, hiking and basketball, he is also active in on-field physiotherapy for Standard Chartered Marathon, Nike 10k Challenge, Asian games 2011 etc. His clinical specialties include acupuncture, diagnosis and management of spinal related diseases and sports therapy.
