Dr. Gordon Soo was referred by my family doctor. I had a nose obstruction issue for many years and it was getting serious and started to affect my sleep quality. During the first visit, Dr. Gordon Soo gave me a nasal spray to determine if my sleeping issue was related to my nasal obstruction. He also observed a bone inside my nose which was causing the obstruction. Then we decided to have a surgery to widen the airways inside my noise and remove my tonsils to improve the air flow and snoring. The surgery went very smooth and Dr. Gordon Soo followed up my condition closely. I visited him almost once a week after the surgery until I was fully recovered. He would even waived the charge if the examination was simple and short. He is a very patient person even when my wife and I asked him many questions every time. Even though there were many patients waiting, he never seemed to rush and answered all our questions. I sometimes sent e-mails to his nurse and they answered me clearly and quickly. Once, I had a serious nose bleed and called him when he had a packed schedule for surgeries, but he still tried to talk to me on the phone, booked a room in the hospital and gave me a time slot in between surgeries to examine my nose. We found out that it was nothing serious, just the scab falling off which had led to the bleeding; in this case, he didn’t even charge me for the consultation and I only paid the hospital for the room fee and medicine.
In general, I have a great feeling for Dr Gordon Soo. He is very patient, had good experience and could answer all my questions - very good English. I highly recommend him, especially for foreigners. I didn’t feel he was trying to simply make money from me.
