Dr Yuen looked at my son's eye after he had an accident at school. A small piece of wood flew into his eye and Dr Yuen and his clinic looked after my son very well. They managed to remove the foreign object from his eye painlessly and then checked his eye in detail. He had a scratched cornea and he put us at ease that this was nothing serious in our case. We were seen to efficiently and quickly. We were all very happy

"After 5 consultations with referred ophthalmologists, I still could not make up my mind. I had nuclei cataract for many years but was afraid to have them removed as a friend who had it done somewhere else and was not happy with the outcome said to me “if you can see, don’t do it”. So I had been procrastinating for years until it had worsened so much that I had no choice but to take the risk. I accidentally found Dr Leonard Yuen via the internet. After an initial consultation I felt comfortable with him and decided to leave my eyes in his hands to which I have absolutely no regrets.
The surgeries were done separately within three weeks and were painless, using anaesthetic drops only, and quick - just 10 minutes starting from the time Dr Yuen worked on me. Upon removal of the bandage the following day my vision was sharp, crisp, clear and the colours were really intense. I have now been satisfactorily discharged.
My sincere thanks to Dr Yuen, whose motto is “treating patients like his family”, to all the nurses at his clinic, and especially to Dr Yuen’s executive assistant Ms Lin, who patiently put up with all my queries pre and post surgeries at all hours.”
Dr. Yuen is very professional and attentive to his patients needs. I had SMILE laser surgery done and on the first consultation, Dr. Yuen explained options, the procedure and its outcomes. On surgery day and during all subsequent follow-ups, Dr. Yuen and his team made sure the procedure went very smoothly and minor discomfort was minimized. Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome and level of care provided.
