Introdution :
Dr Wei Lok Lum Willis obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Hong Kong and continued on to get his Master of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontology in the University College London. He also taught post-graduated students at the Eastman Dental Hospital UCL before he moved back to Hong Kong. Dr Wei founded the Smile Artisan Dental Clinic in Hong Kong and has been providing high quality dental treatment at his clinic since 2007. Dr Wei also treats patients at the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital and was also a honorary associate professor in the faculty of dentistry.

Recently I had a sore tooth, due to the growth of a gingival ulcer, it was very painful. I did a surgery to remove the ulcer, but it came back soon after the surgery. Through doctors' referral, I went to Doctor Wai. It was until then did I know that my problem could not be solved by simply removing ulcers. Instead, I had to first do a root canal surgery, if that doesn't work, then should I start the ulcer removal surgery.

Doctor Wai is really an expert. After the root canal surgery and an observation period, he noticed that there were no more ulcers formed, so he made a brace for my tooth, and cured my dental problem that had been bothering me for years.

Here I hope to give him my greatest thanks, Doctor Wai Lok Lam, thank you !

I went to this doctor because I thought I had bad breath, later on the doctor told me that it is caused by Periodontal Disease. He reassured me saying my condition is mild, as I was in the first stage of the disease. He told me to pay more attention in oral cavity hygiene, by brushing my teeth everyday and every night. Also, I should learn to use dental floss, and avoid consuming food with strong flavours and spices, such as garlic, coffee, onions...as these food ingridents can worsen my situation. It is because dental plaque can be formed in unknown circumstances. Even though we brush our teeth everyday, there is always a possibility of reformation of dental plaques.Therefore, he strongly adviced me to go for a teeth scaling semi-annually, plus regular check-ups, so as to ensure that the dental plaque would not spread in my oral cavity.
