My dad had no tooth and was using dentures all along. I heard him say that he was scared to smile, and was always worried that his dentures would fall off when he smiled, which would of course be embarassing to him. He tried many ways to secure the dentures, but those methods didn't work. Later he found Dr. Chan for teeth implantation, he was worried before the surgery. He had no idea what the surgery is about, or how the results will be. He thought he had a 50/50 chance of successful results from this treatment. After Dr. Chan's detailed explaination, we are relieved. From what I recall, my dad can start eating normal in a few days after surgery. According to Dad, he was still trying to get used to the new teeth, after a while, he feels fine and comfortable, and he enjoys his meals now.
