A close friend of mine had her baby delivered by Dr. Fan, from the checkups to post-labor she had always praised Dr. Fan of being caring, patient and detail-minded, and that he does not drag on her case in order to charge more. Because of this, I gathered up my courage to do a checkup (even though I was always afraid of checkups). After the checkup, the doctor discovered an 11cm muscle tumor outside of my vagina, I have had similar conditions about 15 years ago. At that time, another doctor performed a surgery to remove the tumor, and it took a long time to heal. This time, with thorough explanations, I decided to go for the minimally intrusive method to remove the tumor, and also to clean up all the surgical residue left from the last operation, the second day after surgery, I could walk around and the healing process was way faster than last time. The pain was also lessened. I am very grateful to have met this doctor, and I thank all the nurses attentive care, this experience reshaped my resentment towards doing gynecological examinations.
